Dog nuisance
Tuesday, February 20, 2007
Dear Editor,
Am I the only one who understands what the German ambassador is feeling? I am appalled that Mr Schlegel's neighbours in Jacks Hill found the situation with the barking dogs funny, as some neighbours' dogs can really be a nuisance! Do I hear a "yes" from all neighbours who feel this pain?
I for one have a similar problem; only it pertains to my neighbours placing their doghouse right under my kitchen window! Imagine they didn't even have the courtesy to inform my family that they were building where they did. Some neighbours are so inconsiderate! I haven't been able to freely open these windows for years, as whenever the dog "goes", the smell comes right up! If my parents weren't here I would have called the KSAC already, but "a peaceful life" on their behalf prevailed.
I keep praying that the dog will migrate or "something", but I wake the next morning and he's still there! Why do dog owners somehow never seem to "get it" when their dogs become a nuisance to their neighbours? It's like all of a sudden there is a caul over their eyes! God help us, Mr Schlegel.
