A 15-year-old girl shot and killed her mother after an argument about the girl's skipping school, police said.The girl, who cannot be identified because of her age, was charged with murder Friday.
Cindy Ching Stevens, 44, was shot in the head and torso Thursday after she argued with her daughter about the girl's skipping school for two days. Stevens' husband found her body when he returned home from work.Police said the girl used her mother's handgun. She fled the home, but left a note saying where she could be found and police arrested her there.
