re: Speed Bump's "WWSD?"

Yesterday's Speed Bump cartoon (www.SpeedBump.Com) showed several of Santa's elves working away in the toyshop, wearing t-shirts emblazoned: "WWSD?"

Presumably this stands for "What Would Santa Do?" and is an obvious play on the popular "WWJD" bracelets, &tc., that ask the wearer (and the observer) the question: "What Would Jesus Do?"

A thoughtful question. From time to time I've tried the thought experiment "What Would The Lone Ranger Do?" as someone had once suggested. These are sometimes thoughtful questions, sometimes funny ones, depending on the situation, but what struck me this time is how very crucial, if one is modeling behaviour after a role model, the selection of that role model then becomes.

Just for fun, Consul-At-Arms is going to post a daily "What Would (insert Role Model here) Do?" question, under the title Daily Thought Experiment or "The Importance of Selecting the Right Role Model."

I've already developed a list, but will take suggestions. Any suggestions used will be credited to the person or entity submitting.

I usually ask what would Bugs Bunny do? That always helps me.
