Palace overlooking Babylon

This is a view of the disnified ruins of ancient Babylon, with one of Saddam's palaces overlooking in the background. Not only did Saddam have the palace built, but he had the massive hill built so his palace could overlook his kingdom. You may note that some of the "ruins" look to be in pretty good shape. They ought to be, Saddam had much of the ruins "rebuilt."
This picture taken in March 2004, a week prior to redeploying to Camp Doha, Kuwait and then on to Fort Livingroom.

Guess again.

If i get too bored, I can always volunteer for activation from the retired reserve and go back to Iraq. Oh wait, not that bored yet.
