re: Karaoke

The word of the day is "Karaoke."

Sometimes described Japan's revenge for Nagasaki et al, Karaoke is a bad thing, especially when done badly.

Note to self, if ever in a country where the majority of the available Karaoke songs are in a language in which I do not have native fluency, do not attempt to sing popular songs in that language unless I am a professionally-trained singer.
